Raleigh Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Commission - 2009-2011

Next meeting: Monday, August 9, 2010 from 5:30-7:30pm at the municipal building at 222 W. Hargett St. in room 305

The Raleigh "BPAC" was established to advise the Raleigh City Council on all matters related to bicycle and pedestrian activities and accommodation within the City of Raleigh. This includes the implementation of relevant programs, policies, and funding priorities regarding bicycle and pedestrian transportation. The Commission also works to promote bicycling and walking as viable transportation alternatives, and its appointed commissioners serve as ambassadors for the City in this regard.
